The Brexit Lectures: What next for UK competition policy?
Competition policy has traditionally been one of the strongest aspects of European Union competency, with DG Comp’s decisions shaping the evolution of many structurally important European industries. This lecture will explore the potential for renewed UK competition policy and state aid rules to act as an engine for growth and productivity.
The lecture will be delivered by Sir John Vickers and will be followed by a panel discussion with Tommaso Valletti. The event will take place at the Institute of Directors in London, and will begin with networking and refreshments at 6.30 pm.
