The Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) yesterday cleared the proposal for the acquisition of Mastercard UK Holdco Ltd, an affiliate of MasterCard International Incorporated, and VocaLink Holdings Ltd, subject to a number of remedies, which will address its concerns about any harm arising from the acquisition.
