Daniele is a Senior Consultant in Oxera’s Finance & Valuation team. Based in Milan, he specialises in the application of corporate finance and investment valuation techniques to high-profile state aid and commercial dispute cases.
In the area of state aid, Daniele has experience in designing and undertaking economic and financial analysis to assess whether a measure would lead to an economic advantage (MEOP test application). Furthermore, he has assisted clients to design financial operations in line with the EU state aid rules—including the framework for services of general economic interest (SGEI)—as well as the relevant regulatory framework.
Prior to joining Oxera, Daniele spent seven years working in the Corporate Finance department of one of the Big Four consulting firms in Milan, where he advised listed and private companies active across a broad range of sectors on corporate valuations, intangible assets valuation, business planning and M&A issues, among others.
