Juan Jesús Antúnez Muñoz : Consultant

Juan Jesús is a member of Oxera’s Competition team, where he combines advanced econometric techniques and quantitative tools to provide rigorous analyses in economic and competition disputes. His role involves designing counterfactual analyses, quantifying damages, and preparing economic evidence for both litigation and arbitration cases. He has experience testifying as an expert witness in Spanish courts and international arbitration proceedings, collaborating closely with legal teams. Juan Jesús’s expertise spans the automotive, beverage, insurance, and pharmaceutical sectors, among others.

Before joining Oxera, Juan worked at KPMG as an Economist, where he developed expertise in competition economics, cartel investigations and the design of econometric models for damages estimation and data analysis using STATA. He holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from CEMFI, where he refined his skills in microeconometrics, industrial economics and corporate finance.
